Telescopic Handler Operator Safety
This 4-hour class conforms to the new OSHA/WISHA standards adopted in March/2000 regarding forklifts. The standards require that every employee be trained before being allowed to operate a forklift without supervision. Training is good for 3 years. Each person who takes the class receives a student manual, inspection booklet, and a certificate of completion with wallet sized card. Training is done at your site. This class covers the following:
• Basic Forklift Components
• Pre-Shift Inspections
• Balance, Stability and Capacity
• Estimating Weight
• Load Charts
• Safe Operating Guidelines
